DESPERATE TO 'CREATE (slightly) WORKING PHONE using (old CDMA version) Metro s3 parts on TMobile s3

Dropped my Note 3 and killed the screen. Currently suffering from PTPDS (post traumatic phone dropping syndrome).

I don't know what I've done to the Note, but I can't afford to repair it right now.

I have a GSM T-Mobile s3 with a bad operating system & a smashed screen.....but I also have a mint condition MetroPCS s3 (older version using CDMA).

Could I possibly use the Metro for parts? I wouldn't care what it looked like, as long as I can retrieve texts and notification of voicemail. (I'm an RN and I'm on call often)......oh, and if possible, maybe use it for calls......but the voicemail/texts are truly the only thing I need like ASAP.

I am DESPERATE and would truly appreciate anyone's help.

Everything but the motherboard and antenna should be interchangeable. But, if you can't do the work yourself (and if you could, you probably wouldn't have asked), it's probably going to cost you more in labor than a good used TMobile S3 on Swappa.
