Destroyed Screen

Ok, not my fault, but someone destroyed my S8 screen. A coffee mug fell on it and, even with my glass screen protector on, left a giant crack in the screen. With that, it also damaged the panel, resulting in my entire screen being green-ish, a giant black spot around it, and a few green lines on the display. So, I need s new phone. I have been looking at the Note 8 and the Pixel XL 2. I like the big screen of the Note 8 and the curved screen, and the display I saw looked gorgeous. With the Pixel XL 2, I like the size, fingerprint location (yes, I said it), and the simplicity/fast updates of the device. That said, I don't like the absence of the headphone jack on the XL, so I'm still rather split, though leaning more towards the Note 8. And, I had the Otao Tempered glass screen protector for the S8, and it does say a lifetime warranty on it, so I'm going to see if they will help reimburse me.

I have S8+ and a Note 8 on the way. Entrenched in the Galaxy.

The N8 has excellent pedigree, spending, better memory management plus the 6GB.

Otherwise I would be tempted by Pixel 2 XL.

I've become quite the Galaxy fan myself. Currently rocking a Note 8, S8+, S3 Frontier Watch, Tab S3 and Tab S 10.5. oh, and an iPod for workout music. 😂

Seems like if security updates are a #1 requirement then the Essential One might fit the bill.

I have looked at the Essential, it's just not what I'm wanting in a phone. The weird camera notch on top, no water-resistance, camera not the best, and no in-store availability from Verizon or Costco are deal breakers for me. Thanks though!

Awesome, the memory is something I would definitely use
