Developing and Charging

You can't charge the Transformer from your USB port if the screen is on. You can't really develop an app if the screen is off. Any solutions? Some sort of splitter so I can hook the USB port to the charger and the laptop? WiFi ADB would work but you can't root with the latest FOTA (correct?). I started working today at 0700 and my tablet is about to die as of 1345. I'll turn down the screen brightness tomorrow but I need a better solution.

Would it work to dock the TF on the keyboard, then plug the connector into the keyboard? Would give you 16 hrs a day...

...Would need to own a keyboard obviously.

Would work but not worth $150 to me. Hopefully someone can just root it again as that may be the best solution.
