Verizon has finally NOT blocked the device maintenance features. On my Note 8 and S8+ the ram feature was non existent with the settings and edge panel options. Only thing so far that looks like they still block is Samsung cloud..

It is actually available on the phone; I used Nova Launcher to unhide the app. Then in the settings for Samsung Coud you can turn it on and have the icon appear in your app drawer.

I tried that with my Note 8. But can't get it to work. Plus I like the stock launcher better than Nova now.

Yeah, it doesn't work on the Note 8; I tried as well. It works on the S9+, I just did it this morning and was able to perform a successful backup.

Never understood the point of a "device maintenance" app. Never used one on Android .. and still don't. No issues with w/e phone I am using.
