Device Trade In for Pixel 4

Am I reading this correctly? Verizon will give mr $450 towards a Pixel 4 if I trade in an iPhone 5s (or several other 6 year old phones listed)? I don't see the words "up to" anywhere.

1. You get the Verizon version (you can't unlock the bootloader).

2. You need an unlimited plan. They expect to make their money back on that.

VZ will 'most probably' apply the credits by twenty bucks a month as they want to lock you into their system... in order for you to get the whole amount. I did that for my Note 8 as I knew I was going to be with them for two more years. From now on, I'd only take the credits if deducted from the start when I buy the phone in full.

Usually when you buy through Best Buy they'll take the whole discount up front.
