Devour frozen at moto logo

My wife's Devour shot craps yesterday. So far no one has been able to help. I am sure someone in the great forum community will have the answer. She tells me that yesterday it shut off for no apparent reason and when she tried to turn it back on it only will show the moto logo. It sits there for about 5 minutes and then reboots again. Verizon tried a hard reset, but to access that it needs to make it to the moto blur screen.. So if anyone has an idea I am all ears.

To hard reset:

With phone off,
Hold Power button + R + SPACE (both on physical keyboard)

Hold until you see a triangle with an exclamation point inside of it,
Press Z+M to perform hard reset
Press F+H for reboot
Press Z+B to toggle display(basically to see commands)
