DeX or DeX-like app for Galaxy Tab S2

I have a Galaxy Tab S2, which I quite like. But I would like to be able to use DeX or something like DeX on it locally. I don't want to plug it in to a monitor or anything like that, but I do have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse I would like to be able to use my tablet kind of like a laptop, with a more laptop style UI, in a pinch.

Is there a way to get DeX to run locally on my tablet (with or without things like computer syncing and external monitor support)?

Alternatively, is there an app or something that can act like DeX on my tablet?

Dex doesn't run locally on any device. It is meant for a PC connection. It is only the recent flagship devices that support Dex ie S10, Note 10, Tab S6 etc.The tablet has OTG support so you can connect peripherals but I don't know of anything that will change the UI

DeX has been around since the S8 and both the tab S4 and S6 run it right on the tablet with the tablet display.

Good to know, I haven't used that app in a few years, also had it on the LTE version if that matters.
