Dexter started off great, and had a few fantastic seasons. The last season wasn't great though in my opinion. I was expecting a lot better.

Me too but the Trinity killer season with John Lithgow (and the season finale) was by far the best.

I really liked most of the show. Saw all 8 seasons on Netflix, but after around season 6, it all just sort of went downhill. Would've loved to see the original writers finish the show

i agree with you, the show is still good around episode 4 or 5, but then it goes downhill

I don't know why but I I watched one episode (I guess one of the last ones) and didn't like it all. Now I understand it's better to start from the very beginning

Definitely one of my favorite shows. I felt this was too though. I realized it wasn't for everybody and have yet to recommend it to anyone though. I like The Following with Kevin Bacon in this area too.
