Dial pad not working

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung note 9 on Vodafone and everytime I get a automated service the dial pad doesn't work.

I am on android 9 with latest update the keypad tone is on in the settings yet it still doesnt work.

Not sure what else can be done?
