Dialer sending and receiving data?

I have been getting about 5 hour per charge with medium use in a 4G area. I downloaded spare parts to help track what has been using all my battery, I found that dialer is at the top of my list of data usage. It had sent about 1,000,000 and received about the same number of bytes in a 4 or 5 hour period. There is a other process that is named "0" that has used almost the same amount of data. Any ideas about why these two things could be transmitting so much data and could this be a reason for the bad battery life?
