I've noticed that my Dialer storage is up to 21mbs, does anyone have any info aboot this? Maybe how to clear it, or if I should do anything at all. One other thing I noticed, thanks to Battery Mix, is that my dialer is either being accessed or it maybe is communicating to keep weather and other apps current. Any info would be appreciated since I am fairly new to smartphone tech.

Welcome to AC!!

I just cleared the Data on my Dialer VIA Manage Apps and it didn't do anything. It still shows my recent calls and everything. I have done this in the past (don't remember why) and it never was an issue. I would assume you can safely do so if those 21MB are a concern for you. However, just remember, you pushed the Clear Data button, not me.

Not sure if this is related or not, but, it's worth noting. DTMF was not working properly yesterday, and, no tones were registering. Did a quick reboot and it's working fine now.

Once I deleted all of my texts the dialer storage was cleared of all storage.
