Did any of you switch from VZ to AT&T to get this phone?

Did any of you switch from VZ to AT&T to get this phone. I am so tempted to do just that. This phone would be great for my job but I am afraid to make the jump because I will loose unlimited data. What is AT&T giving now 3 gigs, is that enough for most people. I never bump up against 2 gigs with my Maxx.

I use my phone all the time and I have never used 2GB ever. I think for most people 2GB is enough. I don't stream pandora all day or watch netflix on my phone. If you have access to wifi at home work or both I think you should be fine if you use them while you are there.

To be the devils advocate, I changed my mind last minute and canceled my Verizon order. I play Pandora all day, surf the Web and forums, watch movies, tether my wifi iPad and I use 6GB+. Trade off is I get throttled. Verizon doesn't have any phone's that make me make want to give up my unlimited data for. With unlimited LTE I am sure I would use more data.

I've thought about it because the Note is exactly what I want in a phone, however, I have only thought briefly for two reasons.

- Verizon signal and coverage is far superior where I live and travel to.

- I can't give up unlimited data. I use right around 2gig a month ATM. But lets face it, I didn't even use half a gig a year ago. As time goes on and technology changes, your data usage will go up, not down.

-----------

I only hope Verizon gets this phone sooner than later.

I did. I was on unlimited and using about 2gb a month. I got mine last week so I was on the end of the billing cycle and had plenty of room to play. I did everything lte and used 800mb in 4 days while setting up ad playing. Now I'm using wifi more and its helped a lot! Shouldn't be a problem now.

With this phone and the Lumia, and the evil company is looking a little tempting. Though as another poster said it's hard to give up unlimited data and the LTE speeds on VZW.

I left Verizon for the Note and now I'm about to dump the Note for the Lumia 900. Never had a Windows Phone before and kinda bored with Android so.........

Bored with android? and you've never had a windows phone? dude you'll be crying to come back. I got the hell out of there two years ago. Blackberry was a step up then android. If your are bored with android you must not be that involved. Try rooting and playing.Holy cow the sky is the limit. I couldn't imagine going back to windows.

I was already on AT&T and past my contract. I wanted the Note when it was first released so I didn't have the patience to wait for it to get to another carrier. Perfection would have been for this phone to be on VZN or Sprint. AT&T wouldn't let me keep my grandfathered unlimited data/voice plan, and somehow I raced through data the first month. I wouldn't recommend AT&T; their customer service is pathetic as is their strategy for data plans. Isn't it going to be offered through VZN eventually, maybe soon?

I did but still have an Android phone on Vzw with unlimited. So use my note and tether to my other one when needed :-)

I switched from VZW Galaxy Nexus to the Galaxy Note on AT&T. I mainly did it because in my area there is no LTE, but AT&T did offer HSPA+ which was quite a bit faster than VZWs 3G.

Call quality and overall service is A+.

I switched from Tmobile when I was upgrading my old iphone 3g to a galaxy s2. Then i stumbled on the Gnote, then found out there's LTE service in my area and that was it for me. I returned the galaxy s2 and cancelled my contract.

I was a little nervous about getting only 3gb of data per month but since I have wifi at home I have only used a whopping 300mb in 3 weeks!

I couldn't believe the 4G LTE connection in my area is FASTER than my wifi!

I got the note last week and have been enjoying it. I still have my verizon Droid X but I think I will cancel my contract and give up unlimited data. AT&T has LTE in my area so the only down side is that I will have to watch my data useage. I got the 5GB a month plan so hopefully that will be enough. I was using around 2-3GB a month with 3G so I'm sure having LTE speed will increase my useage as I can now stream netflix flawlessly. Loving the note!
