Did anyone know that andyopie150 has passed away. :(

I'm really sorry to hear that.

He was a great contributor to the mobile community, and a good human being too.
Always trying to help other people out.

He will be missed. Best wishes for his loved ones.

I was saddened by the terrible news.

He was always ready to help and his guide helped me out in starting out with OV.

My deepest sympathy for the family.

Aw - ow. Huh, just found this. Thank you Andy for all your enthusiasm and help - always quick to reply and courteous. A memorable contributor, kind and on point. Thanks again Andy =)

I am so sad to learn about this. He has helped many and I learned a lot from him. He will be missed. RIP.

This is really sad. I haven't visited the forums in some time, and this is definitely not what I expected to see. Such a loss for this community and others. It's hard to think of anyone more even tempered. He was someone you could always depend on for help, and he would spend the time it took to make others comfortable doing adventurous things with our phones. His posts were some of the first posts I read, I think it was in late 2011. The first time he replied to a thread I was involved in, I was honestly surprised, as I thought he was one of the members who had done a lot of early work, and was no longer active. He's been helping others here and elsewhere since before I even had a smartphone, and he's had the same courteous attitude throughout. He was a gentleman, in the truest sense of the word. You will be missed Andy.

No way...aw man, he was a cool guy. Helped me with quite a few problems with my Optimus S. Definitely keepin' his family in my prayers.

Aww bummer.... He was one of the most helpful active people on here. I learned a lot reading his posts. RIP Andy, you'll be missed

What sad news. He was a great member of the community. I learned a great deal from his posts.
