They didn't mention it but specs previously leaked were IP53.

Hopefully it has some decent level of water resistance, or the gall of Google to sell this phone at iPhone prices will look silly

Yeah nothing specifically mentioned but IP53 seem to be listed in a few area's under the specs. So certainly IP53 is better than no designation, and if in fact it is certified to IP53 that is something I suppose.

You can use it in the rain but don't expect to be able to throw it into a swimming pool and for it to come out without issue
