Did I void my warranty by using TowelRoot

I used towelroot a few months back. Never loaded a custom rom, just ran the app. Root checker says my phone isn't rooted. Terminal emulators say I don't have proper credentials to run "su" command. "SuperSu" will not install, because it can't find Su Binary..

It would appear as if my phone isn't rooted, but when I try to use IsisWallet, it says it cannot run because my phone is rooted.

I have a warranty replacement phone coming in the mail, and I don't want to send this one back if they're going to charge me full replacement cost because I voided the damn warranty. Can anyone shed some light on this? How do I completely remove all traces of whatever towelroot did?

Don't know what phone you have but towel root doesn't trip the knox counter. Open the super user app, go to settings and click the "clean up/uninstall" button. Remove su, towelroot. Reboot phone. Download "root checker" to check root status.
Towel root will not void your warranty.
Verizon gs4 rooted and still learning
