Did Samsung ever fix the "pink line" issue with the s9?

So I'm thinking of making the switch back to Samsung from LG but I'm curious if the new s9 might be proned to the pink line issue? My gfs S7 active just started this issue recently but hers comes and goes luckily (hoping it holds out until I'm able to trade it in to best buy) but wasn't sure if it was just an S7 model issue or if it's passed on to newer Galaxy lines...that's something that's halting me from switching up...also it's been forever since I've had an AMOLED screen have they gotten better with burn in issues?

While I'm not the foremost authority. I have seen several s7 and s7 edges with the link line issue. I personally haven't seen any with it on the s8. Not to say it hasn't happened. But I haven't seen any myself is all.

I had it happen to me on 2 different S7 edge phones but I haven't heard of this being an issue on the S8

I had myself, my mother, and my father on the S7 Edge and none had that issue. Didn't own an S8, but do have a Note8 and don't see that issue either. So, I think that problem has been rectified.

I just got the S9. I noticed a very thin pink line along the top edge of the screen. Never heard of the pink line issue before now. I'm kind of blown away. I thought maybe my eyes were playing a trick on me... But now I feel confident that what I'm seeing is real. Wtf Samsung?

Have the S9 now and it's perfect. No issues.

Nope samsung did not fix the pink line issue in S9 or S9+. DO NOT BUY S9 AND REGRET MY MONEY LIKE I DID. Pink line issue is now for S7, S8 and S9 series...
