Did they say it would be released in Q1?

Did Verizon say it would be released in the first quarter or second quarter or first half of the year? I've heard all of these in articles and I don't know which one it really is. Also, if anyone has a link that would be great

At CES this year they announced it would be Q1

should that be taken as a release date of sorts? If its not out by then I guess even Verizon can't say it isn't delayed

Oh it is delayed, because the did promise a Q1 release of their first 4G phone which HTC payed money to be the first to 4G on VZW and from what I've heard HTC is pretty pissed about the whole situation right now.

See your assuming there saying anything... I think thats where most of the frustration is... This is there BIG 4G opener and other then CES there has been hardly a peep out of VZW about it, and wail here playing aloof and mysterious about it everyone and there mother is tossing dates around.

But the point here is don't promise something your unsure about. The CTO even said in a recent interview that phones will be out before Q1 ends

Ok sounds good, so why are you righting them off so soon? They have till the end of the quarter to get it in are hands, if I am not mistaken thats some time around the end for the month (please correct me if I am mistaken). Till then we really can do little else but wait and/or get a deferent phone.
