Got the OTA and installed on my phone. My phone was running pretty well before and now just seems to be snappier. Can't wait to see what Gingerbread brings!!!

This is a mandatory update and will be pushed to your phones eventually I know some people are gunshy after the debacle that was MR1 but there really isn't any point in waiting or delaying the update. It will come eventually.

day one tb. no problems at all since i got it mr1 update with no issues now this update..no issues!

it might just be me but the home screens seem to more more smoothly. miss the free hotspot but all good things must come to an end.

Same here and the app drawer is a nice touch but still havent figured out the landscape clock when docked.

Yes, except for battery life, I have had no issues with my Stock TB running SW 1.12, just updated this AM, only issue was I had to to go to the Wireless & Networks cycle to "CDMA' and back to "CDMA/LTE" once to get 4G to "stick."

Are you saying that this came with the update? I got the update and I don't see it. The only one I have is the one I got from the market.

I'm not sure what the definition of an ap drawer is but on my phone I had to touch menu then select all apps now there is a circle with a triangle on the lower left of home screen that opens and closes apps list with one touch.
Someone said its always been there but it wasnt on mine until update.

Just curious but why do you think you will keep the free hotspot if you don't update? The free hotspot is gone and if you continue to use, it will just be on your next bill. The free hotspot has nothing to do with the update.

I still keep getting the message that the service is free when I activate it.

This is correct and I know and knew it. I believe that GB is coming in the next two weeks and by then everyone will have to update and the hot spot (free) will be gone (maybe sooner).

I don't have a perfect tbolt because it had reboot two or three times since I got it 3 months ago. So I might not update because I'll loose my free hotspot. I'll just wait for the gbread update. GPS, Data is being working Good here...

Hey guys, is any of the lucky as me that got at perfect TB, no reboots since day one, etc, already installed the software upgrade?

If so, how is your phone running, even more perfect now? Or anyone went from having no problems to having any now?

My TB was working well after the MR1 update, but the GPS sucked. My GPS is worked better than ever now, after MR2, with my short tests, the GPS Status app locks in a few seconds rather than minutes. MUCH better than before. Phone seems a bit faster? Too soon to tell battery. I have to use LTE On/Off to force phone in to 1x mode, then I could download the update.

I never had the reboot issues, just the GPS sucked, until now. I am happy, this will allow me to wait for Gingerbread patiently.

I still keep getting the message that the service is free when I activate it.

It clearly states when you activate MHS that it is free for a limited time. Granted, being a technophile I know that period is technically over, but if my screen says free, its free. I dare them to charge me. On the flip side, I do intend to pay for the service once they force the update, but no sense in paying until absolutelt mandatory.

hi everyone just tried to install the update and when it restarted itself i get a triangle with and exclamation point in it and a android beside it. how do i get it to not make this symbol

I believe that's the normal screen while it's installing the update. Once it's done (5-10 minutes or so), it will reboot again and boot up normally.

No, it's not the normal screen. A triangle with exclamation point is not a good symbol.

Being rooted may have been your issue. I believe it was recommended to not accept the update if you were rooted? Someone correct me if I am mistaken.
