Did you install todays software update even having a perfect TB?

Hey guys, is any of the lucky as me that got at perfect TB, no reboots since day one, etc, already installed the software upgrade?

If so, how is your phone running, even more perfect now? Or anyone went from having no problems to having any now?

If you didn't install it yet, I would recommend that you wait a few days before you install it. See how the feedback is. It's not a massive update like Gingerbread or something, so there is no reason to update if you don't have any problems.

I believe this is what I am going to do. I just want some input in order to see what to expect if for any reason I decide to go for it.

I'd love to know to, all I want is GB really. My TBolt works fine otherwise.

I downloaded it even though I haven't had any issues with my TB. No big whoop yet, will keep you posted if I develop any issues.

Thanks a lot. The main reason I am hesitant to do it is because I will lose the free hotspot (I know it will happen sooner than later though) that I use with my tablet every day at work.

Yep. Installed without issue. All looks good. Definitely holds 4G better. No question.

You have to define "perfect"

I bought on day one - still have that same phone.
I have never had the reboot problem or the shut down problem.
No light leaks.
Very, very, very slight peeling on my kickstand.

I've down loaded the new upgrade about a half hour ago - no problems to report.

GPS works great now.
I don't know what or where the tabbed app view is.
My Verizon app is great.
LTE on/off is there.

I lost LTE at home. Never had a problem with it. Now I get to look at the new 3G icon all the time. Nothing else has changed for better or worse. Battery pulled and restart did not resolve. Not happy. Should have waited.

I downloaded tonight and had a great running Bolt and so far I still do.

I had a perfect thunderbolt before and now its even better. It seems to have better battery so far and its a lot more snappy. Also I just want to mention the fact that they call this update a special offer eventhough its meant to fix the problems many people are having haha

day one tb. no problems at all since i got it mr1 update with no issues now this update..no issues!

it might just be me but the home screens seem to more more smoothly. miss the free hotspot but all good things must come to an end.

Yes, but it was only perfect because I had the leaked version of MR2. Before installing the leaked version of MR2, the MR1 update ruined my battery life with it's rogue applications running in the background.

Just curious but why do you think you will keep the free hotspot if you don't update? The free hotspot is gone and if you continue to use, it will just be on your next bill. The free hotspot has nothing to do with the update.
