I always grab a "throw down case" usually Spigen when I first get the phone because I know I will have to wait for my Otterbox(s). Their cases for the Note take a month or so post-release to become available. Worth the wait but I don't like to risk a naked phone.

Yep, I got a basic black TPU and a black leather wallet case. No screen protectors on sale yet, but I keep checking. I also ordered a 3 pack of 6 ft USB C cords that were on sale for 9.99. I always have at least a TPU ready, but for the Note 7 I had the wallet case ready and waiting. So same for the Note 8.

Mobilefun.com for the TPU, but it hasn't shipped yet. And ebay for the wallet case.

It's just a cheap wallet case, I'll order a real leather one once there are more choices. But I wanted to have one waiting in the meantime. I haven't found any tempered glass screen protectors yet.

I usually order a case before the phone is released so I have something for it in case the stores are out of cases.

For the Note 7 I ordered a Supcase Unicorn Beetle about 2 weeks before the Note was released. I used that since the Defender wasn't out yet, but bought the Tech 21 Evo Tactical XT for it the next day after I got the phone. I loved that case. It was their Defender style case and not thin crap like their other cases. They no longer make a heavy duty line.

For the S8 Plus I ordered a Caseology Legion for it. It's a pretty decent and protective case for $14 but Best Buy then Got Defenders in almost 2 weeks before the phones release and they had them in the back and picked one up.

I'm not pre ordering this time and waiting a few months for deals since this will be just too pricey at full retail. I shouldn't have a problem getting a case for it. However a lot of the stores don't carry as big of a selection since the Note is more of a niche device unlike the regular Galaxy line.

Too bad US won't get one. Seen the one that comes with the note7 FE it was the Samsung s view flip case. I have one on my note 5.

I was wondering if Amazon already had Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Cases and I found that several cases are already available.
