Just curious what phone everyone traded in for their S22 (if you did trade)?

How much did you get, and from where (Samsung, Carrier, etc.)?

Good deal?

I actually did not trade this year because I have all pixel phones and the market on Samsung or carriers wasn't good for Pixels. I will probably be trading my S22U for the S23U next year though...

I have 2 unlocked note20 ultra. One was from release date. So I traded it to Samsung.com for 600.got 250 Samsung credits. Additional 50
For reserving the new S22 ultra. I also get a discount for healthcare 77.I purchased unlocked S22 ultra sky blue 512 gb. So I got accessories and phone for 700. T-mobile branded was giving 800 for trade but I prefer unlocked version. And I will still have note20 ultra with SD card for backup.

Trading in S8+ phone for Tab S8 Ultra for $400. I have to find a cheap S8+ to trade in. Think I can find one for $100 - $120.

All from Samsung.com since I prefer direct Samsung over US carriers.

ATT would give me $800 off by trading in an old Note 4 I had laying around. I would have had to add a line to get that deal. Ended up cheaper buying from Samsung wtih no trade. With 12% Rakuten, work discount, and no contract = less money from Samsung.com.

At Samsung.com, my Husband traded in his Samsung s10+ for 250.00 credit & also his Tab s3 for an additional 100.00 credit.
He purchased the Green s22U 256.

My trade-in value for my Note 20U was 600.00 & an additional 100.00 for my Tab s3. But I didn't trade them in. I was just curious. Keeping my Tab s3 for camping trips & my Note 20U as a backup.
I purchased the Burgandy s22U 256.

Traded unlocked Note 20 Ultra 5G for T-Mobile S20 Ultra. Wanted unlocked but Samsung offered $200 more trade-in credit for the carrier version. I could not convince myself it was worth $200 more for unlocked

I traded in (or rather will be trading in) my S21 Ultra. Samsung has some great deals if you're upgrading from last year's phone. I paid a total of about $450 after trade-in credits!

As you might have seen in my post above, Samsung.com gave my Husband 250.00 for his s10+. It's immaculate, not that it seems to help for trade-in. Best Buy offered 300.00.

Maybe you experienced at glitch at Samsung.ca. Seems to be a lot of those floating around...unfortunately.

I agree. I've been upgrading every year since the S2 then Note 3, but paying roughly 1/2 price because of trade in. Not to mention freebies. It's been painless for me.

That's odd... Samsung UK offer £330 for my S10e and £370 (about 640 CAD) for the S10. I'd definitely double check if you're ordering.

Thought I would, but the UK trade in value and promotions just aren't good enough, and there isn't enough of an upgrade for me over my S21 ultra.

Felt like I'd be sending them my phone plus £700 and basically getting the same phone back.

Traded in the Note 20 Ultra 5g, they gave £570, so with that and a case from Samsung and a £20 voucher I had previously, the S22 Ultra cost me £673 on top.
