As usual I put my phone on my samsung fast charge wireless charger, the new one, when I went to bed. When I woke up it was at 3%. The charging light was on the charger and it read fast charging. I watched it drop in charge then die. I plugged it into my oem samsung charger and it buzzed like it was going to charge but didn't so I let it sit until I left for work. Would not turn on.
While at work I messaged Samsung about it and they said it would take about a week, the usual samsung bs.
I had it plugged in all morning still nothing.
Tried it again at lunch and it powered on but was stuck at the Samsung logo, tried a hard reset again and it booted properly and is now charging properly.
Any idea as to what could have caused this? I'm still thinking I am going to exchange out as its only a month old.
Unlocked on T-Mobile.

I'd switch it out

Samsung said it will take a week for then to have it shipped back, inspected, and returned. a week, friggin ridiculous. I told them if it was an iPhone I could take it to a local apple store and they works figure it out in a couple of hours. they didn't seem to care. and the guy insinuated that I would have to pay they insurance claim to have it fixed. below I could ask I got transferred and then hung up on and when I called back they were closed.
to top it off when I restored it it sat on the checking for upgrades for about thirty minutes, twice. it didn't work until I pulled the SIM card. ironically it works better than it ever has.
