Difference between Duo and Google meet.

Google Duo is for calls and video calls based on your phone number, not more than that with no extra features, like messages.

Hangouts includes many more features and it's based on your Gmail account. The old Hangouts is expected to close down in June.

You're coming up exactly what he said. I'm not exactly thrilled about Hangouts supposedly showing down in June. My family and I all use Hangouts the other for IMing and videoing together. I really hope they don't shutting us down anytime soon. Yeah, the biggest difference in Duo versus Hangouts is on the web, you can do a one-to-one duo video call from the web,but you can't do a group call from the web interface of Duo. Hangouts lets you do this.

The article I read claims that with Duo you can have groups of 10 involved in the same call. Is that true or not.

Yeah Google increase it from 8 to 10 people per Duo group.

I think they increased the limit from 8 to 12.
