Difference since Update

Anybody notice a difference since update? What are you finding?

For no apparent reason, my screen will shut down as if I pressed the power button to turn it off... if I press the power button it comes right back, but randomly seems to just shut the screen off... has done it about 2-3 times since I got the update about 24hrs ago (10:30am, EST, 4/34/2012). Other than that, it seems to work fine.

My battery life seems much better. I used to be down to 20% at the end of the day and since the update I'm at 50% at the end of the day.

I've even don a factory reset and it doesn't seen to help

Everything is exactly the same in my opinion. Which is fine.. they can fix bugs and whatnot, just don't make drastic changes that ruin the device.

Screens seem to move a little faster, but that's about it. Which is good as the phone had been perfect so far.

I'm slightly annoyed, frankly I bought this phone because of the battery life. Which has been awesome until this update.

My battery life is the same if not a bit better. Definitely not any worse than before the update.

I'm slightly annoyed, frankly I bought this phone because of the battery life. Which has been awesome until this update.

I have no idea if it was the cause or not but I read on the motorola support forum that you should turn the phone off for 5-10 minutes and let it sit after the update. Does something when all the power drains from the phone and then turn it back on. I blindly followed this advice and my battery life has been terrific since the update as has my wife's RAZR MAXX.

Maybe worth a try?

Those with this issue, have you double checked your "in pocket" detection to make sure it isn't enabled?

Noticeable battery improvement. I'm at 70% with 14 hrs of moderate/heavy use, typically I would be around 50-60% by this time. It might just be me but the phone feels even snappier too.

Agreed, I have 14.5 hours on mine and have 65% battery after moderate/heavy use today. Normally I'm below 30% by this time. Something has really helped my battery and the only thing I have changed is the recent OTA.

Did u do a master reset before the update? Cause mine seems the same or maybe a lil more drainage
