Different Battery Icon (non-rooted)

I have a non-rooted thunderbolt and I was wondering if there was a way that you could change the battery icon to show percentage? I currently use battery status but I dont like have 2 battery status bars I would rather have one if possible.

You can switch to one of the custom made HTC Sense skins over on XDA... a few of them have the battery icon with the percentage.
