Different Screen Problem Nexus 7

I have a different screen problem with Nexus 7, which I cant find anywhere to solve.
The screen has got an oil slick stain in the top left.
Nothing will remove it. is quite large stain about 3 cm by 3cm.
It is not noticable when the nexus is on. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I have the EXACT same issue, however my spot is a bit smaller, about 1.5-2 cm in diameter, very annoying when trying to sketch something and I get there, my stylus gets stuck because there's more friction. I'm going to try a cleaning binge on the screen this weekend with electronic screen cleaner and a microfiber cloth, if that doesn't resolve I'll probably contact Google/ASUS.

i've just noticed the same problem on my nexus 7 also. ive been trying to wipe i down for over and hour and it just wont go away.

I uploaded 3 attachments of the stain. Water beads differently as well on that stain. Nothing will remove it.

I'd send it back. Had this issue in a Sammy GTab 2. Cleaning didn't help me there. Best Buy exchanged no problem.

I was thinking I did something to my nexus 7 and have been trying (unsuccessfully!) to clean and remove this same spot. Now I know I'm not crazy - maybe

Did you guys try some Goo Gone? You can pick up a bottle at the dollar tree.

I have something similar, but looks more like a smudge. The strange part is, it's only visible when I am cleaning the screen. I used some electronics cleaner yesterday to clean the screen and noticed it when it was wet and no amount of wiping would get rid of it. However, if I wipe the screen with a microfiber, it's gone, only to reappear next time I use a wet cleaner.
