Different types of phones (HTC EVO)?

I just found out that therenis about four types of htc evo phones made and i discovered it by the wrong acessories n they n wouldnt fit. I made that same mistake with my last phone (Samsung Transform) n i had the Samsung Transform Ultra. Now i hav accessories for two phones i cant do jack with SMDH!
