Differing capacitive button haptic feedback levels?

Hello,
First post on this forum. Got my epic four days ago. I just noticed that my menu and back keys have weaker haptic feedback than my home and search keys. Also, these keys as a whole, have weaker haptic feedback than the on-screen keyboards. Even when haptic feedback is turned all the way up.

Is this normal?

thanks

My phone is exactly how yours is. It seems like the home and search the vibration is stronger and lasts longer. I actually never really paid attention to that.

Called 2 sprint stores. One said the buttons are supposed to be like that, even the Evo is like that. The other, supposedly, tested out the floor model and he agreed that the back and menu keys hbad a less intense buzz. Guess I won't worry about it for now. Thanks for the feedback all.

Speaking of haptic feedback on the buttons, I just replaced my Epic for a rather creaky slider mechanism and the feedback on my new one seems to be rather weak. I've turned it all the way up, and I can barely feel feedback on any of the buttons.

The vibration seems to be fine in general (e.g., during phone calls), but of course I don't have the two phones to compare side-by-side. Anybody else having an issue with generally weak haptic feedback and/or vibration?
