I have a Galaxy s10 and it's very difficult to "wake up" the phone. I've looked thru the various settings.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

My phone keeps going to sleep while I'm on a call.
How do I disable that? It's extremely annoying, especially if I need to use the keyboard during the call.

I mean either. "Lift to wake" only works about half the time, and usually it takes about 6 or 7 taps.
My S10 is a challenge to wake also. I had it set to double-tap to wake, but that worked only after about 6-8 taps. I turned it off and switched to lift to wake, but that has me lifting the phone, then shaking it back and forth, side to side until it finally wakes. I have small hands and the power button on the side is hard to deploy with my Otterbox folio case. It is a massive frustration just to simply look at my phone. I got the otterbox because my beloved S8 fell and the Samsung LED folio case (a very fun case!) opened and destroyed the screen, ruining the phone, requiring me to upgrade.
I really miss my S8 that had a folio case that awakened the phone by opening the cover. *Sigh* I presume the S10 lacks the magnet or whatever it is to be awakened by opening the folio cover, or maybe the cover itself lacks the magnet. Every time I pick up my phone it must look like I'm shaking water or debris off it, the way I have to wrestle with it to get it to wake up. I know I'm spoiled, but I'm not used to this.
It doesn't look like there's a fix for this so thank you for the opportunity to vent.
Thanks for that. Fixed it!I had this problem and was close to returning my one week old phone as it was so frustrating. But the samsung live chat guy solved it for me.
Go to settings/advanced features/motions and gestures, and toggle the lift and double tap buttons OFF and then on again. Then do a soft reset by pressing the power button and volume down button together for ten seconds.
I did that, and now the screen wakes perfectly.
