Digital Watch face with not permanently displaying seconds?

So I love a simple digital display. But I need the seconds to show as well. And I am finding that If I select a watch face with seconds in the store. The seconds will be there. But as soon as I stop moving for a few monents. The watch face will default to a simplified version with out the seconds shown. I don't know if this is a built in battery saver tech. Since the seconds animation may affect the battery. I just want to figure out how to get a watch face with the seconds showing at all times. And prevent the simplified alternate version changing.

You are correct, there is no way to disable this battery saving mode, even on always on display.
