Okay so here is my short story. I started off with the OG Droid. I liked it. It was laggy but I had not experienced anything better so it wasn't a big deal at the time. I then moved onto the iPhone 4. I liked it, but after 6 months Android was calling me back. I then went with the T-Bolt. It was in a nutshell-horrible. Bad battery, super laggy, heavy. I then went back to a iPhone after being thoroughly dissapointed. 2 months later I saw the Droid Charge and I had to give it a try. At first it was great-better battery then the T-bolt, great screen, it was light weight. Then about 2 months in here comes the LAG. I started thinking that all Android phones had this and as you guessed back to the iPhone 4. I jumped ship to a iPhone 4s recently but I wanted to give Android 1 MORE shot. I went with a 9 month old phone- The Dinc 2. I think I have finally found my phone of choice. I have absolutely nothing bad to say with the exception of the speaker this phone is great, oh and zero lag. I'm happy now, well actually if I could figure out how to roll back to 2.3.3 and root I would be set:)

I agree. Had a similar situation, but had the Galaxy SII, The Droid X2 and the Droid 3. They were all pretty laggy and I love HTC's android look. Dinc 2 is Over looked a lot as a low quality android becasue it's older i guess. It's The best I've witnessed so far.

Search the forums for the post on going to 2.3.3 and rooting. It is really simple IMO.

My renewal date is less than a month away - usually I'm all excited to get the next thing, but I just can't see anything out there better FOR ME than my DINC2. I love this phone.

All you need to do is google Incredible 2 downgrade .98 hboot. You should be able to find the guide.

Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more. I'm up for a new device also and I'm so far unimpressed with what's available. 4G? Meh. Can live without it. It would be nice when I'm in the 4G coverage area, but that's not very often. My 3G coverage is pretty awesome and plenty fast for what I do. One other thing for me is stability. The DINC2 is rock solid. I had so many problems with the Droid X (random reboots and lockups) that I'm kind of afraid to try anything else. Maybe a DINC3 is on the horizon...
