D'inc won't turn on

Hey all, when I woke up this morning I noticed my cat had chewed my phone charger cord up while my D'inc was plugged in. The phone was turned off for some reason, maybe the battery went dead. I have the phone plugged in to my car charger but now I can not turn the phone on, anyone had this problem before or know what to do? Thanks in advance for any help.

You may have damaged your battery when your cat chewed the charger. I would try another battery and if you need to order one I would recommend the Seidio 1750.

Try pulling the battery out for a few minutes and then trying again. Seems stupid but my Incredible has done this a couple times when I shut it off and it won't turn back on again.

If pulling the battery doesn't work you might consider stopping by your local Verizon store and see if one of their batteries will get your phone to turn on. If yes, replace battery. If no, replace phone?
