DInc2 vs Casio Commando...

Hola Gang,

I've just recently grown to be interested in the Casio Commando for a number of reasons. I'm an outdoorsy (runner, hiker, climber, biker, etc...) guy, so here is my dilemma...

DInc2
+ Top of the Line 3G phone...
+ HTC phone...so it will be updated regularly.
- Not rugged at all and won't survive many trips without a large case.
- Bigger and wider than the Casio

Casio Commando
+ Rugged design to survive just about anything
+ Android 2.2, same as what the DInc2 is shipping with...
+ G'zOne Gear Apps (pedometer, hike/jog tracker, compass, etc.)
- No idea if it will ever be updated since this is Casio's first Android device
- Lower end hardware for the same price or $50 less...

Thoughts?

There have got to be apps that you can add to the DInc2 that you'll be at least as satisfied with as the Casio's G'zOne apps.

Since they both ship with 2.2 you shouldn't give that as a plus to the Casio.

That leaves only ruggedness in Casio's favor. Decide if that's enough to go Casio.
