direct TV app when rooted

I have the direct tv app, went to watch VOD today bored at work, and it keeps giving me the technical issues messege. could this be due to being rooted? if so, anyone have a work around?

Doubtful.. but possible. Has it worked previously while you were rooted? Anything else changed recently in your phone, ROM, system, etc?

More likely its just technical issues like it says, lol. I'd give it time.. or see if anyone else is reporting issues.

Won't work on my rooted nexus or rooted nook.
worked before on non rooted devices.
of course works great on ipad2
