Disable Backup Assistant for Verizon??

i have an Ally, how do i disable Verizon Backup Assistant? when running it keeps rebooting the phone. i went into running apps and stopped it but everytime phone is rebooted it runs again. any help?

I don't use VZW BA but try settings>>accounts>>highlight BA>>remove account
