Disable CarHome auto launch

Hey, I installed the default google carhome app as per the article posted today and I like it a lot, mostly. What I don't like is the fact that my side holster case uses a magnet to fasten the flap, and that magnet turns on carhome when my DX is in the holster. Since I use a universal car dock without a magnet, I would like to disable this "feature."

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!



nm, found an app on the market cleverly named Dock Blocker that blocks CarHome from launching when phone comes into contact with magnet.

Good find +1. I have a mag holster from Verizon for the x with no issues. I do face the screen out away from me and it never turns on. My droid would turn on all the time with my old mag holster.
