Apologies if this has been posted and I missed, but has anyone found a work around for non-rooted phones with a corporate exchange account to still be able to use their pattern instead of pin?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Not that I'm aware of. Once they do that stupid policy thing, it's pin or no email.

It's a security policy on the mail server requiring you to use a pin. Careful with "work arounds". Not only can I see all devices connected to our mail server, but I can tell if they are rooted and all software installed on them. Any "work around" software detected and you get an unfriendly visit from HR.
