How can I disable the flipboard widget or briefing on the tab s2? I have been able to move it to trash on the note 4. I only use newsstand for news. Thanks!

If you long press a blank space on a home screen, you should be able scroll between your pages and there should be an option to disable this. Like a check box or an on/off switch.

The flipboard covers the entire screen, I am hoping there is a workaround for this. Thanks!

I want to remove it from the screen, it keeps displaying more and more newsfeeds. I tried Uninstalling the flipboard app but it still stays on the screen. I was hoping I could remove it to the trash bin as one would do with a widget. Thanks.

Update I managed to remove it. I added an extra screen to the right of the home screen and this somehow did the trick. Happy!

It is easy to disable the flipboard briefing which covers the entire screen. Simply press on an open area of the screen to display widgets at the bottom. Swipe left to the flipboard app and uncheck the box.problem solved.
