disable incoming call vibration with volume button not working?

i got a new samsung a40.

its not possible to disable incoming call vibration with volume button. does it work for u?

I don't recall seeing this function on any phone I've used. If you are wanting to disable the vibration for incoming calls, go into the phone's main settings, and then into the sound/ringtone options. You should seem something like in this screenshot.

edit: i see that this is applicable to whatsapp calls and not regular calls. should work for whatsapp calls too

no bro. its not about that setting. im talking about something else. its working for normal calls but not for whatsapp calls. what im meaning is, when i get a normal call and press volume button the vibration disappears. this does not happen for whatsapp calls, the vibration doesnt disappear.

It's not about vibration itself. I think you can mute incoming voice calls by pressing one of the volume buttons. Should work for vibration too

I made my reply before you mentioned this being a WhatsApp issue, and I thought you were asking about regular calls. Unfortunately I don't use WhatsApp, so I can't help you with this one.

I use the AC forums Android app, which has a quote button for every post. I suspect the browser versions of the site do as well, but i tend not to use them.

On the desktop forum site, you can quote a whole post by clicking the big quotes icon at the lower right of a post (between the check mark and the double-arrow Quick Reply buttons). If you want to quote only a part of a post, just highlight that part, then click the Quote option that should appear after you finish highlighting.

I moved this to the WhatsApp forum for more specific traffic.

doesnt seem to work with android 10.
