Disable keyboard cover when flipped back?

Anyone has a idea how to disable the keyboard when flipped to the backside? My surface does that and I wonder of the Samsung keyboard does the same.

Hopefully someone with an American version can confirm. I have the keyboard, but the Blue 256GB one is out of stock so still waiting... :(

Or if you are near a BestBuy you can go test it out there.

My keyboard disables... Most of the time. If I'm already in a text box then it usually doesn't for some reason.

I've found it easier to remove the keyboard than to flip it back. Don't see any way to disable it.

Just realized that the cover must be flat against the back of the tablet to be disabled. If it is not touching the back cover you get uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuy

Yes, same here. It's a little difficult to do with the pen cover bulk ...

Interestingly a firmware update for the cover popped up and ever since the keyboard disables perfectly when flipped to the back ...

How was the update delivered? Via the regular process or another way? I remember an update for my S10 coming from one of the Samsung apps.

A little pop up screen notified me and asked to install. It usually pops up when disconnecting the keyboard. connected the keyboard again and waited for a few seconds, then hit update. It works much better now, however not perfect.

Another workaround that I've been using when holding the tablet as a notepad for instance is to flip the cover around so that the keys are facing the inside back cover. It won't secure the keyboard on the magnetic pin since that's not the way it's supposed to be used, but at least you aren't standing there pushing keys and moving the trackpad around. This is more in situations where there isn't a desk or chair or anything to place the detached keyboard on.

I just got my keyboard and I'm also having the same issue. No matter how I flip it back it never disables. It almost goes flat but hits the pen bump up. I haven't had an update offered to me. Anyone have any ideas?

I just received a firmware update for the keyboard cover. Now when I flip it back around it becomes disabled which is great. The question now is how do I bring up the onscreen keyboard. Hitting the keyboard icon on the bottom only allows setting which keyboard to use, but doesn't display it. I tried the setting to show onscreen keyboard when a physical is in use but it's always onscreen. If I lower it, it pops up again when I start typing.
