disable leds?

I came from using a Nexus S 4G, and didn't mind not having any kind of notification LEDs at all. Now that I have the RAZR MAXX, I want to disable to LEDs, at least for e-mails. I wouldn't mind keeping them just for new SMS's, but that's about it.

Is this possible?

Since I only use Gmail... I can only speak to that... I have not tried, but there are some settings. Open the Gmail app > Menu > Settings > select the account > Ringtone & vibrate > unselect Notify once... this will still notify you with a Ringtone and/or vibration depending on what you have set, but this will turn off the LED notification, or at least it did on my test emails.
