Disable Now on Tap?

Hi, is there anyway of disabling the Now on Tap when long pressing the home button? I find it really annoying.

It's in the Google settings under now on tap... Just go there and turn it off

I've done that but it's already greyed out.

when it's greyed out like that now on tap shouldn't come up just the google search should come up when u long press the home button

I uninstalled the Google app and use a long press to summon Cortana. O

Ahh, maybe it's just normal Google then rather than On Tap, see below. The point is I don't want anything to come up when I long press the home button.

There's nothing you can do about that that is just how Android works how Google intended it.

Depends on what else you have installed. Mine defaulted to Firefox search (I don't use chrome) when I would long-press the home key. That's when I decided to use Cortana... Well that and being a long time WP user. I got used to her being around...
