Lock screen keep asking for pin after unlock. Can we disable it somehow?

You can't completely disable the PIN, it's required as a backup unlock option in case fingerprint fails. It's also required for unlocking the device after a reboot.
That said - I've noticed my FPS has been SLIGHTLY finicky, and after 2 attempts with my finger it will "fail over" to the PIN. Is it possible this is what's happening?
I guess it's part of Android. It still asked me after unlockedGo to security/screen lock

Face unlock doesn't work in the dark
Yeah it works for me like that but in the bed with almost no lights and just screen lighting up my face it won't.Mine works watching TV with one light on no problem

My first finger scan failed, no wonder it asked for my pin.Are you sure it wasn't some other app that popped up?
Maybe check in lock settings if there's some setting mentioning administrative lock using the power button?
Does it still ask for the pin if you use double tap or let the screen time out to put it to sleep?
