Since my phone loaded smart manager, it sends me in excess of 100 messages a day telling me that certain applications (such as facebook, wattsapp and messenger) are making my 'phone run slowly. I have tried to disable the notifications or the application, but it won't let me disable it.

When I force a stop, it re-launches.

I cannot have this application beeping on my phone all day. How do I disable it or disable the notifications permanently?

I too have this problem. Driving me mad, I didn't ask for it and don't want it ! It notifies all times of day an night that Twitter is running slowly - can't be that slow as I still have most of the charge left in the morning ! The notification is the same sound as my texts so even in the middle of the night I have to check my phone in case it's an emergency. I've tried to force stop and it keeps coming back ! I have just chatted with Samsung and they are going to look at my phone remotely on Monday as they say I should be able to disable/force stop the app. I don't think you can, so will be very interested to hear what they have to say. If what they tell me works I will post again on here !

After activate Smart Manager application on Samsung Galaxy J7 the phone is running slow and freeze constantly and can not connect to the internet.
How to uninstall Smart Manager because does not appear in applications.
Go to Settings - Lock Screen and Security - Device Security - Turn off KNOX active Protection moving the slide bottom. Turn off your phone.
Open your phone and remove your SD card from your phone if using one.
Start your phone, go to Settings - Backup and Reset - Factory Data Reset.
This will reset your phone to the original factory setting and everything will be delete.
Never activate again Smart Management or KNOX active protection.
Reinstall your SD card.

I can't find this on my phone. None of these options (as you describe them above) exist... <frustrated>

Additionally, Knox security is already turned off in my phone.

This also seems like quite a drastic fix to get rid of SmartManager (which I did not install: it just seems to have 'arrived').

I wasn't going to reload everything because of this one app and the other one didn't work because the options it says wasn't there... but while I have it charging at the top there was 3 dots, I clicked there and was able to turn it off

first of all go to settings >sounds and notifications > App notifications > select smart manager and select hide content on lock screen

then again back to settings go to lockscreen and security >Device security >Disable KNOX active protection and deactivate the anti malware option below KNOX active protection

in lock screen and security go to other security settings > disable send security reports and go down to ussage data access> disable smart manager so after that restart your device if this working dont forget to suscribe my channel

Thank you! It just started telling me that my anti virus program on my phone (same one I use on my laptop) is malware and it needs to be uninstalled. It has been driving me nuts all day!

I too am having this problem with a J5 phone. Alas, most of the options being referred to in the previous answers are not available in the J5, to deselect, etc. I do not have Knox installed but this Smart Manager app seems to be taking over my phone and with a vengence. Every few minutes it vibrates and I've tried everything I can to get rid of it but it just keeps on coming back. Samsung has a lot to answer for with this highjacking of my system. Perhaps I'll be opting for a different make at my next renewal. HELP!
