Disable System Updates?

I need to keep my replacement Pixel 3 and the wife's Pixel 2 off of Android 10. Updating mine to Android 10 nuked a bunch of my sensors. I put both Pixels in Developer Mode and unchecked Automatically Update on Restart. I also went into Google Play Services and disabled notifications to hide any from showing up on the screen. This also hides all app updates. However, I see a setting to uncheck System Updates while leaving the rest active. Would this allow me to see all app updates while hiding notifications for a phone System Update? Thanks in advance!

No, to keep from updating to 10 (it will eventually, even if you say no every time), you'd have to root. See Magisk Releases. (It's pretty easy, but since unlocking the bootloader wipes the phone, you'll have to back everything up first.)

(I don't know why 10 "nuked" your sensors - all of mine seem to be working fine. Something might have gone bad at the same time you updated. [That would be covered by the warranty.])

Just upgrade your phones and if you have issues open support tickets with Google.

Hmmm, what? Come on now. You have a pixel. Folks buy them because they are 1st inline for OS upgrades.

Get Google support engaged. Don't do that to your phone.
