Disable the new edge panels on Android Pie

Upgraded to Android Pie, there's a couple new edge panels on each side a bit lower than the traditional. I want to disable them. I haven't found information about that specific topic. Please help

Can you post a screenshot? There should only be one edge panel tab (which you can move around or re-size). Can you move or resize the 'extra' ones you see? Have you checked they're not images on the background (an user just had a siilar problem and turns out the background just had a screenshot of that panel).
