Disable the ZVJ update?

I am running thekravens ics right now. I want to run either reborn rom or thundeRom but when i do, i get constant updates every 10 mins for the new software update. Is there a way to stop the notifications?

I've never seen an update notification running Reborn, for either VH or VJ, and have it running right now. Pretty sure it was disabled by default. Are you running 2.2.4?

EDIT: Is your notification update for new Market apps or for VJ?

Yes i was reborn rom 2.2.4 and it gave me a software update every 10 minutes. But if i click install my custom recovery stops it

I am running reborn, I never got the notification for the update to VJ, which is just fine by me.

I had that issue....SO i said it! and updated to rooted ZVJ and downloaded Kraven's CM7

Downloading that ROM while on that radio is fine, but if you want to have phone and data, you might want to use another ROM or revert to ZVD first.
