Disable Up/Down swipe for apps?

Is there a way on Galaxy S8 to disable the swipe up or down for app drawer feature? I find myself constantly opening it up on accident when swiping between my home pages. I do NOT want to disable the app drawer and I've already added the app drawer icon to the home page.

Welcome to Android Central. I believe, if you enable the apps button, that disables the swipe.

Okay, my bad. I see nothing in the manual so, as @wunderbar posted, I think you'd need a different launcher.

home settings/ then enable quick notifications, that way you swipe down the notification panel shows and then you swipe down you go to apps

Try Apex launcher. I specifically went back to the default Samsung launcher to see how annoying that was and it is very! Apex launcher allows a lot of customization also.
