disable volume rocker

I haven't seen this discussed (and I searched, so if its been done, please direct me to the post)
I hate the volume rocker. I hit it all the time. I tried "quick profiles" app and I can't figure out how to delete or change profiles, so I didn't like it.
So I guess my question is, is there any way to disable the volume rocker (so that the ringer can't be changed accidentally) and what is the best app for profiles. I come from a BB Curve, so I'm kind of used to that format for profiles.

When I get to a computer I will fime the exact app, but I am pretty sire you can look in the market for button mapper app. It lets you assign different actions to the buttons...

RingGuard, free in Market, does work on TB. It won't block an accidental change but will allow a one touch solution to keep the volume from changing. I agree, there should be an app that disables the damn thing. Was worse on the INC because it was on the left side and my thumb would always hit it.

Use this it protects you from accidental change, go into the settings and change the notifications timeout to 0 and you'll be all set.
