Is having a Voodoo kernel installed but disabled the same thing as having a nonvoodoo kernel installed? I don't mean comparable performance or speed, I want to know if it's actually the same thing. If it varies among developers, I would like to know specifically for SC 2.4. Thanks guys

there are other things voodoo offers like sound enhancements and pice quality. in the case of the 2.2 kernels the voodoo and nonvoodoo kernels, with the exception of lag fix, are bascilly the same. read the how to voodoo post to get more info.
